Let’s face it, the palaeolithic lifestyle can be pretty complicated. We encounter questions like, “Does it really work”, “Isn’t it just like the Atkins diet” or “Is it still Paleo if it’s microwaved because I don’t remember the cavemen having electricity at that time.”
Some are even skeptical if the diet is really healthy. But we are not here to debate those issues, especially since we don’t hold any medical degrees whatsoever. We are just here to share and learn about the Paleo way of living.
I’ve tried Paleo myself but I will be honest, I’m on and off it. But when I follow it strictly, it’s very easy for me to lean out and I feel more energy. So why don’t I stick to it? Well, I have my excuses: eating at a restaurant is hard when I’m on strict paleo, I love grains too much, and I want to enjoy the occasional cake and sweets.
So bottom line is, it works but I find it hard to stay on it. It’s a simple diet to follow.
We will share recipes that are easy to follow, restaurants that are near you, and even delivery services that bring food to your doorsteps. We want to make this lifestyle attainable and sustainable.
So join us as we take the paleo journey together.
The paleo way is an approach to eating that is in natural alignment with our prehistoric ancestral diet – the very one that forged our physiological make-up and our essential nutritional requirements. The time period we are talking about where we ate this way spans over 100,000 generations – of our evolutionary history: more than 3 million years. – Nora Gedgaudas
